The Truth About Syria

The purpose of this blog is to illustrate a perspective on the Syrian conflict that media stations like FOX News, Al-Jazeera, and CNN would never dare to show. Many have been deceived into thinking the situation in Syria is as simple as, "Bashar is killing his people." This blog disputes and challenges that claim. A lot of people do not know about the arms the protesters possess, the agenda they're trying to push, the popular support Bashar al-Assad enjoys, or who's really killing and being killed in Syria. This blog is in dedication to everyone who wishes Syria recover and that the bloodshed stop. There is one agenda for this page: to get you to think and hear about the perspective you have not been told.

Wahhabi Cleric tells Israeli Channel: We Rebels in Syria are with Israel

This is how sectarianism is brought into the equation and misleads millions of people about what is really going on in Syria. The rebels are the ones playing the sectarian card, not the Sunnis or Shias in Syria. This cleric says that all Sunnis in Syria support Israel and want the downfall of Assad. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the Rebels who do support Israel have been assassinating the Sunni clerics who stand up for what is right. You may read about that here. This video shows the true nature of the rebels, not Sunnis or Shias. It shows where their loyalties lie.

Syria has spoken - are you listening?

In an effort to combat global marches calling for the collapse of the Assad Regime in Syria, the Syrian Government decided to hold its own “March for Syria” on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Whereas the global marches are small in attendance and partly coordinated and attended by many non-Syrians, hundreds of thousands of Syrians came out across their country today to make sure their voices were heard. They chanted slogans committing loyalty and support to Assad’s Baath Regime, for the changes he has promised, and against the ongoing foreign intervention through the funding of Syria’s opposition and the sending of foreign mercenaries to fight against the Syrian Army.

The demonstrations today drew many times over what the anti-regime protests ever did. Do you really care for Syria? Do you respect the choice of the Syrians? Their choice is Bashar al-Assad. Their choice is his proposal for partnership in peace and prosperity for Syria.

The following are photos from the demonstrations across Syria. The demonstrators aren’t Sunnis, Alawites, Christians, Shi’ites, or Druze. They are Syrians, which was all that mattered until the conflict broke out last year and the international community tried to fuel it into a sectarian conflict.
